A trailer reel advertising many releases from Warner Home Video; the song (a high quality version of which can be heard here) is about a couple snuggling up to watch a film from Warner Home Video (i.e. the kind of song "Weird Al"/Cheese Sandwich wouldn't mind recording). Also . . . typical '80s tune!
Check out these two films when you get the chance! I personally haven't seen the films, but might get them on VHS someday.
In 2010, I got myself a DVD of the Powerpuff Girls Movie off Amazon.com. But, 5 years earlier, it was at a Bric-a-Brac shop that I found the VHS version of the film. (This was released on Nov. 5, 2002 alongside the DVD, since they still made VHS copies of movies back in 2002.) But that had no case.
Until now.
I acquired three Warner Bros. VHS tapes from a Schenectady, NY-based eBay seller (american_anglophile) that sold the three. The seller, alias Jennifer Deuel, mainly lists cosmetic products; I was under the impression that she was now only selling the 1997 VHS of Titanic; alas, she has not listed any more VHS tapes as of this writing.
Basically, we cleared her whole stock.
Opening of one of several VHS tapes of the original Powerpuff Girls that were issued by Warner Home Video in 2000. Judging by this video here, looks like my prediction that a lot of people would like the original (one I made in my head back in the later 2000s) was right!
The opening to the 2000 Demo VHS of Liberty Heights, basically a pitch of the tape and four other titles to an interested store owner. Yesterday, I bought the officially released version of it, which is much different.
